Animal Kingdom is a crime drama that tells the story of Josh, the youngest member of a notorious crime family who is recruited by a cop currently investigating the family. As the investigation mounts, Josh struggles with loyalty to his family, himself, and just wanting to be a 17-year old boy.
The film is from Australia, and Guy Pierce plays the role of the cop, while newcomer James Frecheville plays the role of Josh. It scored big at the Sundance Festival.
