Capcom has just released some interesting information regarding its upcoming release Dark Void, namely that the project was once envisioned for the NES, and that a re-imaginig of its 8-bit incarnation will be headed to Nintendo’s DSi.
The trend of 8-bit demakes is hot over at Capcom, who released the retro -styled Mega Man 9 this past year and recently announced that another 8-bit Mega Man will come out next year.

Oh, and the game was originally called Dark Rift!
Head over to Capcom’s blog for their first hand account and some screenshots of the game in action.
