Demon’s Souls, the best video game in the world, has sold a quarter million copies, much more than the paltry 15,000 Sony expected the game to sell.
As a PS3 exclusive, it seemed odd for Sony to pass on publishing the game in North America, espicially since there was an Asian version of the game that already included an English language option. Sony thought that the game’s unforgiving diffuculty wouldn’t do well overseas, and the game was finally brought over by publisher of all things awesome, Atlus.
I beat the game, and that, along with earning a college degree, stands as the proudest accomplishments of my life.
If you like Action RPG’s, go buy it and die.
