The anime for the Golgo 13 series has made its way to the Netflix instant streaming service, complete with a fully-voiced English translation. You can watch it here.
The only reason I know of Golgo 13 is from playing the NES game based off the series, titled Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode. My grandma had an NES in the basement, along with a modest collection of games for the grand kids. I remember really liking the cover.
I remember it being really hard too, which is weird because we beat Mega Man games in that basement. Here’s some gameplay from the start of the game:
