Killzone 2 was a beautiful game. It’s ravaged Helghan landscapes and impressive replication of really for reals guns blew the Bros away. It really showcased what the PS3 could do.
However, the combat felt a little repetitive at times, and the awesome inclusion of fighting in a Mech was given criminally short screen time. But the multiplayer? That stuff was like crack.
But now a third installment of the franchise may remedy these complaints, as 1up says that their sources have revealed that a sequel to the PS3-exclusive FPS will be releasing next year. This is made more credible by the Linkedn profile that was pointed out by PlayStation LifeStyle that explains that the creators of Killzone, Guerrilla Games, is currently working on 2 new games.
Seeing that Guerrilla is owned by Sony, you can bet that they are coming out for a PlayStation system.
