Chiptune Essentials is a feature where the Bros highlight chiptune musicians deemed important/interesting/pleasantly fragranted or otherwise Awesome. Basically you should listen to them. First up, Disasterpeace.
Disasterpeace has been uploading various tracks in different states of completion to 8-bit Collective for years, many of which have been composed into the fantastic album Rise of the Obsidian Interstellar.
Disaster has created several soundtracks to actual games as well, like Puzzle Agent, Drawn to Life, and the canceled Bonk game Bonk: Brink of Extinction.
His other original album Neutralite is sweet, but we’d recommend you first check out Rise of the Obsidian Interstellar below (or be a lad and buy it!).
Essential Track(s): Jump Error, The New Formation, Club Wolf
