Frances Bean Cobain was born in 1992, the daughter of Nirvana front man Kurt Cobain and Hole’s lead singer Courtney Love.
Her Godparents are Michael Stipe and Drew Barrymore. Her father infamously killed himself. She interned at Rolling Stone, got emancipated form her mother, and is now about to lay down her vocals on a new album. The album is called Evelyn, Evelyn, by the band of the same name. The band members are conjoined twins.
Cobain sings on a song called My Space, which is a mash up of different artists singing with the conjoined twins. She joins Weird Al, Tegan & Sara, and some dude from My Chemical Romance on the song, amongst others.
I think it is now safe to say that Grunge is dead, rolling in its grave, and possibly a zombie.

I haven’t heard her voice yet so I’ll wait on that part. This child will have a rough go of it. My prayer is that she will remember the happy good parts of her childhood[oh, the wonder and awe of life] and never forget who she really is deep inside. I’ve had some friends whos parents ended their life and it leaves questions. So I would add here that, people forget who they really are when they get stressed and strung out. Sometimes people make rash decisions before they have all the facts or a clear thought. Sometimes people make mistakes that are fatal, I am truly very sorry for her loss. I have only seen the Barbara Walters interview of Frances and Courtney from way back when. But at the time I was shocked at how much she resembled her father Kirk,and as well as my pure distaste of her mother as well. Mostly because,of her reputation and the FACT that Courtney was and admitted to abusing heroin,while being the sole parent! Also, being VERY disturbed by raising thier daughter in the presence of a candle lit alter of her husbands death,and memory set up as a alternative belief,commonly associated with witchcraft. However,that could be wrong. I don’t think and still don’t that Courtneys behavior has EVER constituded for a rational,appropriate mother for thier daughter. She’s been through hell it seems over and over by not just what life had dealt her,but the fact she seems to be too selfish,and preoccupide by her own self;etc.to trully be thier as a mother should for her daughter. I hope that they both can deal with life without substitutions for pain,loss;and can better thier lives and each other through time.
