That’s right. The docu-drama series that gave you a reason to watch VH1 is back! The Hollywood Reporter, uh, reports that VH1 has signed for about ten new episodes, featuring artists like Lil’ Wayne and Scott Weiland. For those of you unfamiliar with the show, every program generally followed the same formula; a rise to fame, followed by a fall from grace, with the occasional sober rebirth.
Behind the Music was an integral part of VH1′s re-branding in the mid 90′s, which left behind programming like New Visions and Three Hours of Bad Videos for the likes of PopUp Video and Legends.
VH1 aired a special New Kids on the Block edition of Behind The Music after the boy-band’s recent reunion. Apparently ratings were so good that it sparked the decision to resurrect the entire series. So if you are happy to hear this news, thank KNOTB.
